So my morning is a wash. How about yours?
Yesterday, I couldn't stop the flood of ideas coming out of my head. I've now perceived at least half if not 3/4 of The End of Bliss. It should be a good story when I'm done. I took a lot of notes and was anxious to get going. Since we didn't go to Jackie's for breakfast yesterday morning as we usually do, I decided I would go today, make it a writing morning and get the week started off on the right foot. When I'm clicking, I can come away with a couple hand-written pages of good material when I work at Jackie's.
Well, Jen was putting on her necklace and I kissed her on the neck. This caused her to fumble the necklace and snap at me. I ask her why she's stressed in the morning and she shushes me like I'm one of her preschoolers, which is the fastest and easiest way for her to get me to lose my temper. So now we're both pissy and she gets even more upset because she can see I'm upset and she begins crying. So then I have to calm her down and cheer her up as best as I can given that I'm holding the trash at the bottom of the stairs. Wrap this drama up and I'm completely spent. All the exciting ideas I wanted to put on paper gave up for the day and went to drink coffee, leaving me even more annoyed.
What a crappy start to the morning.
